Pink Bits by JB Heller was insanely funny. And quirky. And hella sweet & sexy. It was the first book I’ve read by this author and certainly won’t be the last. It was written very well and flowed nicely. I finished it in one sitting and only wish it were as longer.
Pink Bits was exactly the kind of story I am drawn to because I can relate to the hilarity and awkwardness that was present throughout the story. From the weird facts and the coffee mugs with funny sayings, I felt an instant connection to the story and its characters.
I felt a camaraderie with the main character Reagan which made the story more enjoyable for me. I loved how comfortable she was with herself – between her random weird facts and her general awesome awkwardness – however, she still had insecurities.
Rhett. Mmmm, he was delicious. He was super sweet and charming and had his own hangups, but he wasn’t a douche. He admired Reagan’s quirks which raised his hotness level up a notch.
The banter between Rhett and Reagan was great and they left a smile on my face the entire story. I enjoyed the dual POV and reading how each was feeling and thinking.
Overall this was a highly enjoyable book and I definitely recommend it. I was happy to learn that there will be another book which I cannot wait to read.
