This series had me shaking my head, crying and maybe even throwing my kindle.  An amazing conclusion to an amazing trilogy.  This book had all the elements I love in a good book – suspense, romance, drama, and all the feels.  I will definitely be reading this series again.

Talk about being dragged through mud kicking and screaming. Don’t know why I’m ever surprised but OMG when you consume yourself with this book series and you go through the emotions that there characters do. That is when you know you’ve read a good book. Awesome job

I have no words.  I thought Kiera and Mount were the perfect couple, but these two may have them beat.  A fast-paced story that has you wondering WTF, this girl has hope that in the end, they are as strong together as they are apart.

OMG this is so pulse-pounding as every word flows so easily over the page. You finally get more of a look at these two and you start feeling hope. Then BAM…the author, of course, throws in a twist you know is going to happen but still, hope maybe not.

All I can say is wow.  Mount and Kiera make an unstoppable team.  Seeing their story play out in this trilogy was nothing short of perfection.  While Mount will always be the Ruthless King that gets spoken about in whispers and Kiera will always be the Defiant Queen who stands up to him at every turn, these two somehow soften each other’s edges in the best way.  A must read trilogy for any fan of a strong hero and an even stronger heroine.

I’m not for sure I can muster the world’s enough to write this review the way it should be written. First off, I know this author planned on one book for Mount then once she started writing she knew that it wouldn’t do it justice. So thank you for following your gut instinct because you have us EXACTLY what we needed.

The surprises that were in this book had my head flipping around in circles. I can’t tell you how many times I said WTF? You’ve got to be kidding me? No way!!!! I love that in a book when you think you know and then nope. The rug gets pulled out from under you.

As with all my reviews, I don’t want to give anything away. However, I do want to say I read all 3 books in 24 hours and while I’ll admit it killed my soul to do it. I’d do it again tomorrow. In my opinion, this book was a GRAND SLAM!!!!

Okay so can I just say that while I loved Mount in book one of the series, it’s book two that I fell even harder.  We learn more about Mount’s past and how he came to the place he is now.  We also find out that Kiera’s entire future with her now undead ex-husband was built on a lie.  As these two grow closer to a love that could prove to be cataclysmic the world around them starts to close in on them.  I can’t wait to see what is in store for these two in the final chapter.

INCREDIBLE

As I started reading the second book in this series I fell more and more in love with Mount. What can I say BAD BOYS are the best. I love with each turn of the page I get to learn more about Mount and Keira. They both are fighting so hard but at the same time, they are quickly falling for one another. As I get ready to begin the last book it is with tears in my eyes because even though I want a HEA and I hope I get one I also know the way emotions have been up and down throughout this series. So grab this series buckle up and I’m ready to make my final landing and into what I know is going to be a massive book hangover.

Lachlan Mount is the man that should send chills up your spine (and not in a good way), the man that is only spoken about in whispers, the man that everyone is afraid of.  However, he is also the man that once you get a taste of him, you don’t want to let go.

Kiera Kilgore is feisty, strong and absolutely defiant.  She isn’t going to let Mount push her around.  From the beginning, she shows her spine and that shows Mount exactly who he is dealing with.

I can’t wait to see where she goes with these two.

I’M IN LOVE

I knew at the mention of Mount in Hennessey’s story he was going to be a force to be reckoned with. However, what was unexpected was that I was going to trip all over myself about this man!!!!

OMG to be Keira. I love how strong and defiant this woman is. It literally sends chills up my spine how bold she is. I love how this author writes about bold and brash women who don’t cower in a corner. It’s going to take a strong woman for Mount and I do believe it’ll be Keira who has Mount on his knees!!!
